Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Weekender Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our residents while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This is a consistent weekend position, ideal for someone looking for a stable schedule and meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet our standards
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with meal prep, portioning, and plating
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food and supplies
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth meal service
• Accommodate special dietary needs as directed

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience required (healthcare or senior living preferred)
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
