The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations across the Pelzer manufacturing facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate material flow to support production and customer delivery requirements. This role is critical in maintaining operational control of inventory, inbound receiving, outbound shipping, material movements, and warehouse team execution within a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead frontline warehouse personnel while driving accountability, inventory accuracy, process discipline, and operational excellence through established systems and standard work. The position works closely with Materials, Planning, Production, Logistics, Procurement, and Manufacturing leadership to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules and customer commitments.

This leader is expected to maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor, proactively resolve operational issues, escalate risks quickly, and drive continuous improvement across all warehouse functions. The role requires a high level of ownership, urgency, organization, and leadership capability to support the rapid growth and execution demands of the Pelzer operations.

  • Inventory accuracy and warehouse control (95% or above)
  • Safe and efficient inbound/outbound operations
  • Material staging and support for production execution
  • ERP transaction discipline and warehouse system accuracy
  • Team leadership, development, and accountability
  • Continuous improvement and process standardization
  • Cross-functional communication and escalation management
  • Supporting operational readiness for increased production and revenue growth

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring warehouse operations remain aligned with business objectives, customer expectations, and overall operational execution across the Pelzer facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • 4+ years supervisory experience in shipping and warehouse environment
  • Obtain and maintain relevant, required certifications for work performed, such as a forklift license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and utilization of total quality management principles and use of problem-solving tools
  • Education or experience with self-directed work teams, facilitation skills, or training
  • Proven material control experience
  • Experience supervising and coaching hourly employees
  • Knowledge of process improvement methods, manufacturing systems, Network Power operations, product and organization
  • ERP Experience

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Management or Logistics preferred
  • Associate degree or Military certification in Materials Management or related field with 3+ years of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • Obtain and maintain relevant, required certifications for work performed, such as a forklift license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Heavy Lifting (over 45 Ibs.)
  • Frequent Standing
  • Frequent driving (car, van, truck)

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.)

TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED

  • 10% of Travel Required (Mainly Between Work Sites)
