Job Summary:

Aptive is seeking a Website Developer to design, develop, test, and maintains accessible, responsive, and user-centered web solutions supporting client communications and outreach objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include webpage development within Drupal and/or related content management systems, implementing HTML/CSS and front-end functionality, supporting user experience improvements, optimizing digital content for accessibility and SEO, troubleshooting technical issues, and integrating multimedia and digital assets into client web environments. The Website Developer collaborates with writers, designers, publishers, and technical stakeholders to ensure web products are visually compelling, technically sound, and compliant with federal standards.

 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience.
  • Experience developing and maintaining websites within Drupal environments.
  • Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, and web development best practices.
  • Experience implementing Section 508 and WCAG accessibility requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting federal government web programs or communications initiatives.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and responsive web design techniques.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS).
  • Experience integrating multimedia, analytics, and digital engagement tools into websites.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, ServiceNow, and digital asset management systems.
  • Experience supporting SEO optimization and user experience (UX) improvements.
