Job Description:

POSITION: Director of Operations

WORKSITE: 1725 Hughes Landing Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas 77380

JOB DUTIES: Oversee all phases of solar renewable construction projects from inception to completion. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Lead and mentor a team of construction managers, engineers, and other staff. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies. Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions effectively to all stakeholders. Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high standards of construction. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction. Monitor project budgets and control costs. Approve expenditures and manage financial reporting. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's level education or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or Telecommunications Engineering.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 4 years' experience with construction management with focus on renewable energy projects with solar including experience operating Primavera P6 CPM scheduling software and Bluebeam Revu takeoff software. Additionally, 4 years' experience operating MS PowerBI and Heavy Job HCCS + experience as a manager of Energy construction activities in the field, especially in Utility Scale PV Plants (>50 MW) construction in an EPC Contractor.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 20% domestic travel to project sites, regional and corporate offices.
