This role focuses on creating high-performing digital experiences that generate leads and engage key audiences.As part of the web strategy and operations team, you'll collaborate closely with product and segment marketing to deliver high-quality, strategically aligned design solutions across corporate websites and campaign landing pages.This is a temp-to-perm opportunity located in Jersey City, NJ working one day/week in the office and four days remotely.Pay: $75-$85/hour + benefits, paid weekly!Responsibilities:Lead the visual and UX direction for the corporate website, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standardsCreate and maintain design systems to support a scalable and cohesive web experienceDesign and build responsive, visually engaging web pages and interactive componentsUse light animation and interactive features to enrich the digital experienceCollaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of design conceptsLead wireframing, information architecture, and user flows to optimize user experienceGuide junior designers and cross-functional team members on UX/UI best practicesConduct user testing and A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve outcomesRequirements:Minimum 6 years of experience in web or digital design, with a portfolio showcasing responsive and visually compelling workPortfolio link must be included on the resume; relevant work samples must be attached when submittingStrong UX/UI skills and a solid grasp of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layoutProficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with at least 5 years of hands-on experienceDemonstrated experience working within design systems and component-based design frameworksIn-depth understanding of responsive design, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and best practicesHands-on experience designing light animations or interactive web features using tools such as CSS animations or CerosProven ability to manage and deliver multiple web projects in a fast-paced, corporate environmentStrong communication and organizational skills for cross-functional collaborationBachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in the financial services industry, particularly in a corporate web design or digital marketing environmentNice-to-Have (Plus):Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or HotjarTo be considered for this Web Design Lead opportunity, apply now!Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401k ProgrameLearningEducation ReimbursementOngoing Training & Development*To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Employment type ContractJob function Job function Design, Project Management, and Strategy/PlanningIndustries Financial Services, Banking, and Design ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Onward Search by 2xInferred from the description for this job 401(k)Vision insuranceMedical insuranceGet notified about new Web Designer jobs in Jersey City, NJ .Junior Graphic Designer.
