We're opening a brand-new dental office located within a multi-specialty medical center offering medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, physical therapy, and chiropractic care-all under one roof.
We're looking for a Lead Dental Assistant who is ready to step into a leadership role and help build a strong clinical team from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support dental assistants in daily clinical operations
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures
- Ensure operatories are fully prepared, stocked, and running efficiently
- Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Help onboard and train new team members
- Create and manage dental assistant schedules to ensure proper coverage and efficiency
- Track, monitor, and coordinate dental lab cases, including follow-up and organization
- Review and manage lab invoices for accuracy and timely processing
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures within the back office
- Establish clinical workflows and systems in a new office environment
- Support tracking and improvement of key metrics (provider efficiency, room turnaround, clinical productivity)
- Collaborate with front office and leadership to ensure a seamless patient experience
What We're Looking For
- Dental Assistant experience required; Lead experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization standards
- Strong leadership, training, and team-building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operational responsibilities
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excitement for helping launch and grow a new office
