Position summary
Responsible for leading JMTs waterwastewater projects to ensure high-quality delivery through quality schedule and budget. The Senior PM will begin the project life cycle by identifying leads and marketing efforts on targeted areas of growth. The individual serves in a leadership role providing guidance and mentorship as well as ensuring projects continue to align with JMTs organizational goals.
Essential functions and responsibilities
Manages waterwastewater projects in accordance with scope schedule and budget.
Collaborates with disciplines and subconsultants to develop a risk adverse project scope and fee.
Develop project specific project plans Project Management Plansquality management plan.
Create and maintain project schedules.
Manage subconsultants
Monitor and execute project progress including identifying and mitigate risks developing extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals.
Communicate project status updates and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in offices project financial status meetings.
Build relationships with clients to understand preferences and requirements to set-up and execute a quality project.
Prepare progress reports and review invoices.
Develop and lead in project status and presentations
Assist Section Heads Office Leaders and Practice Leaders with the marketing process including SMART GoNo Go decisions proposal development interviews and developing a win strategy.
Collaborating with Section Head and Office Leader on identifying leads and opportunities based on strategic goals.
Assist Section Head and Office Leader with developing strategic goals based on clients program information etc.
Develop and maintain a strong network of clients and other industry stakeholders.
Coordinate and guide all technical resources within the project team to ensure delivery of a high-quality outcome.
Leveraging advanced knowledge and experience with the client and project type to analyze the project anticipate potential risks such as overruns and scope changes and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Implement strategies for project tracking and reporting by using project performance metrics to foresee and mitigate issues.
Providing coaching and mentorship to the project team through one-on-one check-in meetings and various project debriefs to acknowledge achievements identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned.
Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management setting expectations goals feedback 11 meeting coaching that supports the growth and development of team.

Required Experience
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program
10 years of experience
Professional License or applicable certification
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong Communication Skills Strong Presentation Skills Business development experience
Qualifications preferred
CAPM or PMP
Experience working with local clients at the city county and state level
Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build Design-Build P3
Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment 95 of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise dust etc. within the office environment. Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heatcold wethumid and dryarid conditions. Some lifting up to 25 lbs may be required as needed.
