You will support the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities serving municipal clients. This position provides handson exposure to treatment processes and facility design while building a strong foundation for longterm career growth.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation projectsAssisting with treatment process evaluations, calculations, and system sizingPreparing technical memoranda, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and planning documentsAssisting with development of plans, specifications, and cost estimatesCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineersSupporting high quality, client focused project deliveryThis role offers excellent opportunities to develop technical expertise in treatment processes, strengthen communication skills, and grow into increasing levels of project responsibility.Qualifications2+ years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experienceMaster's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.Engineer in Training (EIT) certificationDesign experience on water or wastewater projectsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft ProjectPreferred Qualifications (not required)Exposure to water and/or wastewater treatment facilitiesFamiliarity with treatment processes such as filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, or solids handlingStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independentlyHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality and client serviceThis hybrid position fluctuates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, and copy machines. This job will require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, construction hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee include frequent sitting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
