As a result, we have a full-time position available for a water/wastewater project engineer for both public and private sector clients.Responsibilities Serving as the project engineer for civil/environmental water and wastewater projectsOverseeing the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities for municipalities, industries, and investor-owned utilitiesAssisting with construction administration associated with facilitiesDeveloping calculations and detailed designCollaborating with project managers and clients toward implementation of designsWriting engineering reports and technical memorandaMentoring and providing technical guidance to staffSome travel will be required.Required qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, chemical or biological engineering from an accredited college or universityAt least four (4) years of relevant water/wastewater project experiencePE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional statesPreferred qualifications Experience with planning, design and analysis of municipal infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater systems, sewer force mains, lift stations, and similar projectsExperience with groundwater wells, clear wells, elevated storage tanks, and pump stationsHydraulic and/or treatment modeling experienceConstruction observation experienceExperience with municipal and county government client interactionExperience creating project scope and feesBenefits Mead & Hunt proudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
