Whats the Role and What Youll Do
The Public Works Department is accepting applications for the position of Water Utility Worker I/II. This role plays a critical part in keeping Mountain View's water system safe, reliable, and responsive to the needs of our residents, businesses, and community. From maintaining the City's water distribution system to installing, testing, reading, and repairing residential and commercial water meters and backflow devices, this work directly supports one of the City's most important responsibilities: delivering clean, dependable water to the people who live and work here.
Water utility work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact is felt every day. It helps protect public health, supports local infrastructure, strengthens service reliability, and contributes to the high quality of life Mountain View is known for.
