Qualifications:

  1. NJDEP S-2, C-1, T-1 and W-1 licenses required.

  2. High school diploma required, college courses preferred.

  3. Proficiency in the use of a computer system and software appropriate for creating reports and online report filing.

  4. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

  5. Ability to work with a minimum amount of supervision required

Reports to: Manager of Custodial and Maintenance and Grounds

Job Expectation: To monitor the operation of the Waste Water Treatment Plant and Potable Water System

Performance Responsibilities:

A. Work Performance

  • Weekly site visits to record flow data
  • Assess overall condition of water and wastewater facilities
  • Report any discrepancies to the Manager of Custodial and Maintenance and Grounds
  • Submit monthly reports to NJDEP for water and wastewater
  • Quarterly monitoring reports
  • Maintain and coordinate sample events with the certified laboratory to maintain NJDEP compliance
