Responsibilities

  • Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, drainage design, and stormwater management

  • Support design of water resources systems, including culverts, detention/retention, and conveyance

  • Prepare plans, reports, and calculations

  • Use tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Civil 3D, and GIS

  • Collaborate with project teams and support senior engineers

  • Ensure designs meet local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • 0–4 years of water resources or related experience

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain

  • Familiarity with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Civil 3D, or similar tools

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

  • Team-oriented mindset
