The City of Greensboro is seeking a highly analytical and environmentally focused Water Quality Analyst to support the Stormwater Management Division through scientific analysis, project management, regulatory compliance, and environmental monitoring. This position plays a key role in protecting water quality by analyzing complex environmental data, supporting biological and stormwater studies, and helping the City make informed decisions that protect public health and the environment. The Stormwater Management Division works to protect Greensboro’s streams, lakes, and waterways through environmental monitoring, regulatory compliance, watershed management, and public infrastructure planning. The division supports the City’s sustainability and resiliency goals by managing programs that improve water quality and preserve environmental health for future generations.
The Water Quality Analyst is responsible for managing water quality data, conducting scientific and statistical analysis, supporting environmental compliance, and leading technical projects related to stormwater and stream health.
