Part Time 15-20 Hours a week | Onsite in San Jose CA
This position will spend about 70% of its time supporting the Senior Water Conservation Specialist (Sr. WCS) through administrative tasks and special projects, and 30% supporting other water conservation program managers, with various program-support tasks based on program needs.
The primary responsibility will be to support the Sr. WCS with implementing conservation-related planning activities related to Water Conservation Strategic Planning, Baseline Studies, and comparable efforts primarily through tracking, assisting with reviews of deliverables, and helping compile data and resources to support these projects.
Additional duties include assisting with annual reporting, contract drafting to support contract development, tracking deliverables, developing outreach collateral, following internal processes to procure outreach materials, assisting with inventory tracking and order fulfillment for the Online Shopping Cart Program, and other administrative tasks. The position will also assist with day-to-day operations, procedures, and process improvements for the Water Waste Program.

Required Knowledge:
Knowledge, skills, and abilities include competent, methodical, and/or detail-oriented technical writing skills; general office and customer service skills; computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office programs and the ability to use our Oracle-based and Salesforce-based database; and knowledge of our water conservation programs, specifically the Online Shopping Cart and Water Waste Programs.
The candidate must be able to schedule and document public interactions, write reports, and travel to properties to support or shadow program staff. Knowledge, educational, or professional experiences with the business community or specific businesses like hotels or HVAC are pluses.


Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical Screenings (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
