Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. One year of general clerical experience is required. Must possess a Driver license. Completion of coursework or certified business school training may substitute for the required experience on a month-for-month basis. Must be able to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.

This position plays an important role in supporting Miami Dade County's centralized mail operations. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for managing the accurate collection, sorting, and delivery of interoffice and USPS mail while operating mailroom equipment and driving County vehicles.
This position entails sorting, processing, and delivering various types of mail throughout County departments. The incumbent in this position may be required to operate mail machines, hand trucks, dollies, and related equipment to ensure efficient workflow. This position will be tasked with driving County vehicles to different locations for mail pickup and delivery. Additionally, the incumbent in this position will be responsible for weighing items to determine proper postage, entering tracking information into computerized systems, preparing bulk or special mailings, and handling certified, registered, insured, and express mail.
