Customer Service Manager - Waste and Recycling Industry

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year + annual performance bonus 

Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role

A growing waste and recycling services provider in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead a high-performing customer support team. This role is responsible for driving service excellence, managing daily customer operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction across residential, commercial, and industrial accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives
  • Monitor service levels, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve complex issues
  • Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and sales teams
  • Identify process improvements to enhance customer experience
  • Support employee training, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer service leadership experience
  • Strong team management and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with CRM systems and call center metrics preferred
  • Waste, recycling, or environmental services experience is preferred
