We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager / Plant Manager to lead daily operations at a waste, recycling, transfer, or materials recovery facility (MRF) in the Pacific Northwest. This role is responsible for safety, operational performance, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and financial results.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day facility operations and personnel.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Lead and develop supervisors and frontline employees.
Monitor productivity, budgets, and operational KPIs.
Coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost controls.
Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
5+ years of leadership experience in waste, recycling, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or industrial operations.
Strong background in safety, operations management, and team leadership.
Experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits
