Warranty Carpenter

The primary focus of the Warranty Carpenter is to work closely with the Warranty Manager to efficiently address and complete warranty and punch list items across multiple construction projects. This role involves thorough inspections, timely repairs, and quality workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold the company's standards. This position is expected to work within a 90-mile radius of the city of Pittsburgh, and will be an employee of the Pittsburgh, PA office location.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with the Warranty Manager to prioritize and schedule warranty and punch list work on multiple projects.
• Inspect completed work and identify necessary repairs or adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Perform carpentry repairs, adjustments, replacements, and touch-ups on projects under warranty.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while onsite.
• Communicate clearly with project teams, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and homeowners/tenants warranty concerns and status updates.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, including photo and video, and submit required documentation and media to the Warranty Manager.
• Ensure all work complies with the specific projects approved plans, safety regulations, building codes, and company quality standards.
• Operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles responsibly.
• Collaborate with management and project teams to identify recurring issues and recommend preventative solutions.
• Assume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by Franjo Management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction and the tools, materials, and methods used.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot warranty and punch list items effectively.
• Valid State Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in warranty or post-construction service work.
• Familiarity with construction administration processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Customer service experience in a construction or trades environment.
• Trade School Certification's
• 'Procore' Construction Management Software Certification's
• OSHA 10
• Aeriel Lift Certification
