Job Summary
A leading foodservice equipment and supply distribution company is seeking dependable Warehouse Associates for their Norcross, GA facility. This role is responsible for receiving, stocking, preparing, and shipping merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for long-term assignment based on performance and business needs.
Location: Norcross, GA (6255 Brook Hollow Parkway, Norcross, GA 30071)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (may end earlier depending on workload)
Contract Duration: Ongoing contract assignment, approximately 40 hours per week
Travel: No travel required
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and prepare merchandise for shipment
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker equipment safely
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and order accuracy
- Lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly throughout each shift
- Bend, stoop, climb, stand, and twist for extended periods as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker
- Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand, and twist for extended periods
- Willingness and ability to complete forklift training/certification requirements
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must wear ASTM F2413-18 OSHA-approved steel/composite toe boots with slip-resistant sole and minimum 5-inch ankle support
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with RF scanner operation
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience
- Current forklift certification
