Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items
Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
Securing loads to the machine before transportation
Inspecting product load for accuracy and safely navigating around the warehouse or facility
Performing a variety of routine tasks to assist in production activities
Manually or mechanically loading or unloading materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles
Moving controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
Arranging sheet metal in warehouse
Preferred Education and Experience:
The individual will have a minimum of 6 months forklift driving experience, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in a manufacturing facility and regularly be exposed to:
Humidity, loud noises, dirt
Varying and extreme temperatures
Sheet Metal
Forklift traffic
