Job Title: Warehouse Worker I Seafood Department

Location: Hampshire, IL
Contract Duration: Ongoing, based on business needs
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM start until completion of daily operations (typically 9-10 hours per day)
Travel: None required

Job Summary
A leading food distribution company is seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join their Seafood Department. This role is responsible for receiving, handling, storing, labeling, palletizing, and preparing seafood products for distribution. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a cold, wet environment and can safely perform physical warehouse duties while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, unpack, inspect, and store incoming seafood products and materials
- Pull and fill orders accurately and efficiently
- Box, label, palletize, and prepare products for shipment
- Move materials throughout the warehouse, seafood production area, and cold storage cooler/freezer
- Operate electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Follow written and verbal instructions related to safety, quality, and production
- Adhere to food safety and quality procedures at all times

Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of relevant warehouse or production experience
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated, and freezer environments for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull warehouse materials
- Ability to stand and remain physically active for 9-10 hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with electric pallet jacks
- Prior experience in food, seafood, or cold storage warehouse settings
- Familiarity with order pulling, filling, and labeling processes
