Warehouse Worker
Experienced warehouse workers needed in Buford, GA!
Must have previous forklift experience and be willing to work in multiple areas of production.
Starting pay is $21.44/hr. Schedule is 1st shift 6am-2pm. This is a contract to hire position.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Pick, stage, and prepare raw materials for order fulfillment
- Break down bulk material into customer-specific quantities and configurations
- Package finished materials according to detailed customer specifications
- Operate sit-down and/or side-loader forklifts to transport and position materials as needed
- Print, apply, and verify product and shipping labels for accuracy
- Support production flow to ensure timely completion of finished goods
- Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards in all warehouse operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned; responsibilities may evolve based on business needs
Requirements
- Forklift experience required (minimum 1 year in a warehouse or manufacturing environment)
- Ability to successfully complete a skills-based evaluation (reading comprehension, basic math, measurement, inspection accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving)
- Prior experience in warehouse, manufacturing, metals, or industrial material handling preferred (minimum 1 year)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Basic math skills (counting, measuring, basic calculations)
- Basic computer skills or comfort using warehouse systems and data entry tools
- Ability to stand, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs consistently
- Ability to pass a physical evaluation including vision, hearing, and mobility requirements
- Willingness to participate in a structured onboarding and apprenticeship-style training program upon hire
