Sigma Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Worker for a 1-month contract in Black River Falls, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals with warehouse, material handling, or forklift experience who enjoy working in a hands-on environment.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 1-Month Contract (Covering Medical Leave)
• Onsite

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse using a forklift or other material handling equipment
• Receive, move, and organize agricultural products and seed materials
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare materials for shipment
• Count, weigh, and verify inventory while accurately completing required documentation
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Move materials between warehouse and production areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse by sweeping floors and cleaning spills or damaged products
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse, material handling, or general labor experience preferred
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Flexible and dependable with a positive attitude
• Must wear steel-toed shoes
• Ability to work in a dusty warehouse environment handling agricultural seed products
• Comfortable working in a warehouse that is not temperature controlled

Work Environment

• Agricultural warehouse handling seed and farming materials
• Dusty environment (voluntary respirator use available)
• Non-climate-controlled warehouse
• Physical position requiring standing, walking, lifting, bending, and material handling throughout the day
