Warehouse Worker - 3rd Shift

Admiral Metals, an ISO 9001 Certified Company established in 1950, distributes a large variety of metals including Aluminum, Brass, Copper and Steel. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Worker to join our 3rd Shift team in our Guilderland, NY location.

Hours: 1:00am - 9:30am

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform duties according to the Distribution Floor Manager and daily distribution schedule.
• Accurately receive inventory and verify shipments.
• Fill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent, preferred.
• Proven history of working safely.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must meet physical requirements of position.
• Must pass physical, human performance evaluation, and drug test.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Authorization Requirement

Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident eligible to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, pull/push up to 50 lbs
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis
• Ability to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to work in cold and hot environment
