Warehouse Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support inventory control and daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing tools, equipment, and materials while contributingto overall operational efficiency through accurate tracking and hands-on support.
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime: Available as needed based on business demands
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, ongoing inventory of tools, equipment, and materials using internal systems
- Receive, inspect, unpack, and properly store incoming shipments
- Monitor stock levels and request replenishment as needed
- Track and document tool usage and movement to ensure accountability
- Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear; coordinate repairs or replacements
- Collect and return tools and equipment at the end of production shifts
- Operate forklifts to safely move materials and equipment within the warehouse
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications- Previous warehouse, tool room, or industrial experience preferred
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Overhead Crane Operation experience
- Basic welding experience (MIG and/or TIG preferred)
- Ability to lift and move materials in a warehouse or shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
