Warehouse Supervisor
POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor in a manufacturing organization directs the activities of employees engaged in Receiving and Warehouse. The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor also ensures the safety of workers in the organization by setting safety policies for the department.
Principal Activities
- Manage employees' daily activities to insure production efficiencies.
- Manage employees hours to insure minimal overtime
- Conduct annual performance reviews
- Place employees on verbal and written counseling, as needed
- Train employees in fundamentals of production as well as cross train the staff in all facets of production.
- Conduct interviews on potential candidates.
- Inform Human Resources and Operations Manager of all employee resignations and termination.
- Assign tasks and projects to Group Leads.
- Insure in meeting the production schedule.
- Maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a near, safe and ordering condition.
- Report any problems or difficulties to the Operations Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must meet attendance and punctuality requirements for position.

- Relevant experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7 years experience in warehouse
- 2 years supervisory experience
