The Opportunity

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials supporting manufacturing and project execution. This role oversees warehouse personnel, enforces safety and quality standards, maintains inventory accuracy, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring materials are available, organized, and delivered on time to support mission-critical production schedules while fostering a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment.

What you will do?

The Warehouse Supervisor leads and supervises warehouse associates by assigning work, monitoring performance, providing training, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This role manages staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping to maintain appropriate coverage and productivity. The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all inbound and outbound material flow, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely order fulfillment.

The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through cycle counts, reconciliations, and coordination with inventory control teams. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures proper organization, labeling, and space utilization to optimize efficiency and accessibility. This position monitors warehouse performance metrics, identifies inefficiencies, and implements process improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety.

The Warehouse Supervisor enforces compliance with safety regulations and company standards, conducts regular safety audits and training, and addresses safety concerns promptly. The role collaborates closely with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and project teams to resolve inventory, order, or shipment issues and addresses customer or vendor concerns related to warehouse operations professionally. Additional duties may be assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations (required).

  • 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required).

  • Experience supporting production, project, or mission-critical operations (preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling processes.

  • Proven leadership ability with experience supervising or leading warehouse teams.

  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

  • Forklift or material handling equipment certification (required or obtainable after hire).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field (preferred).
  • OSHA or safety-related training (preferred).

  • Inventory or logistics certifications (plus).
