The Installation Technician is a key member in the installation department, responsible for delivering and assembling our products for customers.
A Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Production Manager in Houston and assumes responsibility for the management of raw material to include shipping and receiving. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately. Excellent communication, time management, organizational skills, and self-motivation are key elements to this role.
Responsibilities
Lead and development a team that assists in managing warehouse operations and inventory
Supervise warehouse staff including assigning tasks, coaching, and development
Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and investigate any discrepancies
Enforce safety standards with regular meetings to align with OSHA regulations
Track and maintain KPI dashboard that summarizes material management's performance
Coordinate with departments such as purchasing, production, and installation
Monitor warehouse productivity and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
Value stream minded schedule development that prioritizes decisions using input from both internal and external customers.
Identifies, Maps, and Measures Core Processes for the team including:
Warehouse Management
Managing Obsolete Parts
Control Inventory
All other Kan Ban program Management
Receiving
Maintain facility organization and material flow using lean and 5S principles
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Fluent in Microsoft office programs required
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be logical with well-developed problem-solving skills.
Natural attention to detail.
Ability to learn new skills quickly.
Required Education and Licensing
AA/AS with 2 years experience, or 5 years experience in a warehouse in a manufacturing setting.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field is preferred.
