Warehouse Supervisor

Introduction

This position involves supervising the warehouse team in managing, processing, and executing all material movement transactions in an electronic component production environment. Responsibilities include overseeing shipping orders, performing putaways, conducting cycle counts, and resolving invoicing transactions. The role also involves leading and training staff, setting daily work tasks, and supporting production and quality teams in material inventory management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 to 6 years of supervisory experience within a warehouse or H.S. Diploma/GED equivalent with 8 to 10 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience and knowledge of MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• 3PL and Logistics experience.
• Ability to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Prior work experience in a startup environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• RMA, procurement, or return to vendor experience.
• Additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics.
• Experience with inventory analysis and reporting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide effective supervision and coaching to materials team personnel to achieve production goals.
• Manage all movement of material through the facility, including material receipts, shipments, kits, stocking, and transfers.
• Oversee shipping/receiving, resolve inbound/outbound order discrepancies, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness, and enforce safety compliance within the warehouse.
• Report on inventory quantity, units processed, and overall material status.
