Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient workflow, and maintain a safe and organized environment. The ideal candidate will lead a team, manage inventory, and coordinate logistics to support timely distribution and storage activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with logistics, shipping, and receiving teams to optimize workflow
- Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate when necessary
- Monitor equipment and facility maintenance needs
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and workforce performance
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably with supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
