Join the Drug Plastics and Glass team as our Warehouse Supervisor at our Boyertown location! Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor supervises the warehousing functions of the plant in order to achieve identified objectives while minimizing waste & unnecessary expenses and achieving high levels of employee involvement/morale. This is a Monday - Friday, salaried position.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Degree, College Preferred
  • Fluently read, speak and write in English
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 2- 3 years previous experience in a supervisory role is strongly desired
  • Currently hold, or previously held forklift certification

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead people and get results
  • Excellent organization
  • Outstanding communication including verbal, and written skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to walk and stand for significant amount of workday

 

Some Responsibilities Include: 

  • Supervisor all Warehousers to ensure all quality and Drug Plastics standards are maintained
  • Ensure warehouse areas are free from hazards, clean (5S), and employees are working safely
  • Attend priority meetings prior to and after shift change to discuss schedule changes, down equipment, quality issues, material requirements etc. 
  • Communicate with employees regarding job assignments, specific problems encountered on prior shifts, quality and safety concerns, and general business
  • Review shipping and receiving requirements to assure schedules are on target
  • Review, and approve timesheet for direct reports
  • Complete required reporting
  • Conduct cycle count inventories and ensure the virtual inventory in the ERP system is accurate
  • Coordinate with corporate departments to ensure the shipping of finished goods and the receiving of raw material are timely without error
  • Train, coach, and motivate employees with a focus on maintaining a positive morale while meeting or exceeding performance and quality expectations
