Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is an active member of the warehouse area, supervising all

warehouse functions including inbound, outbound, monitoring inventory, maintaining and

organizing the warehouse and assisting the manager in all respective duties. The supervisor will

work on the floor with team members, ensuring they are working safely and are adhering to

food safety guidelines throughout the inbound, outbound, and sanitation process. The

supervisor must be comfortable working in a diverse, fast paced environment.

Salary: $70k - $74K + up to a 10% company bonus!

Shift: Overnight Shift (6pm - 5am, 5 Days a Week, 2 Days Off)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Assist the Warehouse Manager in all aspects of warehouse operations ensuring the warehouse process is running smoothly and efficiently by organizing workflow, and monitoring team members on the warehouse floor in accordance with established policies, procedures and eliminating waste in the operation.

Leadership:

  • Recruit, interview, select, and mentor new and tenured team members
  • Support team members in engagement initiatives
  • Plan work schedules, assign duties, and maintain adequate staffing levels
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations to ensure warehouse standards, processes, and functions: pick, sort, pack, receive, stock, etc., are followed
  • Monitor and hold team members accountable when performance is below expectations use coaching and/or progressive discipline, as needed
  • Complete team member performance reviews
  • Collaborate in team members onboarding and training
  • Ensure safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirements
  • Create positive work environment, morale and respect among team members
  • Coordinate with manager on daily schedule, workflow, staffing and personnel concerns
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, attend staff meetings, daily briefings, and leadership trainings
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area

Reporting:

  • Assist in compiling daily key indicators
  • Assist manager with preparing daily warehouse statistical reports
  • Manage day to day inventory levels with the use of existing software or Warehouse Management System (WMS), utilizing First in, First out (FIFO) procedures to ensure proper rotation of existing stock
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for audit purposes

Warehouse Inventory Planning:

  • Maintain inventory control utilizing WMS
  • Assist manager with quarterly cycle counting and/or annual physical inventories using WMS software and reports to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Create weekly loading schedule for receiving, warehouse and ICL (inventory control departments

Warehouse Operations:

  • Review load sheet and verify accuracy of assembled load
  • Make recommendations to Manager on operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
  • Assist manager to be audit and 5S ready
  • Assist manager in achieving all warehouse related KPI goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Director
  • Fill in for Warehouse team members to perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals, as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, some college with equivalent work experience, or 2-3 years of warehouse experience
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills to train and coach team members
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Must successfully pass a background checks every third year on your anniversary date
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge of WMS, MS Office, SAP, computers, and scanner equipment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, be on call, including carrying an emergency cell phone, as needed

Additional Requirements:

  • Follow and enforce Domino's dress code standards
  • Must maintain forklift, pallet jack and scissor lift certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs, and lift to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures (non-airconditioned warehouse), both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to work in environment with exposure to loud machinery
  • Must be able to work around yeast and flour
