Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Specialist to support one of our strategic partners in delivering critical Base Operations Support Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Job Summary
As directed, the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require anunderstanding of the establishment's storage plan. Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Qualifications
High School graduate, minimum one year experience. Experience in O&M to include support of a work force that is responsible for O&M and repair of all facility systems, subsystems, and selected equipment typically found in a Base Operating Services contract. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to pass a company drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record.
