Job Type: Full-time with overtime

Wage: $28-30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for a wide range of duties including direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, as well as overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Loading and unloading trucks with a fork lift. Monthy inventory.
Other Job duties will be property maintenance such as mowing grass, weed eating, spraying weeds, snow removal and painting various items such as conveyors, hoppers, bins, and aggregate equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects.
- Be aware of and familiar with the Company.
- Work with shop personell when needed, painting, assisting in operating fork lift when building components.
- Consistently keep work area clean and organized to promote professionalism, safety, and efficiency.
- Actively participate in any recommended or mandatory training.
- Make safety the main priority while working.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers and management.
- Additional duties as assigned by management, as this job description is non-exhaustive.
- Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work. (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).
- Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with companies policies and vision.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution and maintenance operations.
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with a data storage system.
- Perform annual cycle counts.
Position Requirements:
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
- Experience as a Warehouse Specialist.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, and other equipment.
