Position involves performing various warehousing duties with an understanding of storage plans, including verifying materials against receiving documents, reporting discrepancies, routing items to designated locations, and storing or palletizing materials according to procedures.
Responsibilities include rearranging and inventorying stored materials, examining for deterioration or damage, and preparing items for shipment. Operation of hand or power trucks may be required.
Basic requirements include the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and CAC, be at least 18 years old, and capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments exposed to weather conditions. Candidates should be able to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment such as forklifts, with at least one year of supply management system experience. Prior knowledge of SOPs and safety procedures is also necessary.
