JOB SUMMARY
Under minimal direction, the Warehouse Specialist is a hybrid role that involves working alongside the Service Manager or Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee the entire warehouse operation. Key responsibilities include assisting with equipment staging, ordering replenishment stock parts, and performing daily inspections and inventory tasks for service vehicles/division service trucks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing materials, verifying counts against purchase orders, and inspecting all incoming materials for damage.
- Maintain desired stocking levels, correctly store, sort, and label stock materials, separating them from job-specific materials.
- Ensure all incoming materials are correctly received and recorded within the ERP system, utilizing company-specific software, field devices, and associated paperwork to maintain precise inventory information.
- Accurately stage materials in preparation for installation, shipment to clients, or customer pick-up.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain maximum inventory accuracy.
- Safely operate and utilize various hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment, including box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, lifts, drills, and saws.
- Occasionally perform job site deliveries and complete all delivery offloads, whether originating from the warehouse or a job site.
- Proactively maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all relevant safety protocols.
- Assist management with daily operational duties of the warehouse, answer phones, process claims, invoice service work, and collaborate with the parts and supply chain teams.

- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- In office and warehouse environment.
- Extended periods in varying environmental conditions, including weather and noise.
- Frequent standing, bending, ladder use, and operation of hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
PLANNED BUSINESS TRAVEL
- This job requires no planned business travel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Combining experience in forklift or scissor lift practices of 3 or more years with education is desirable.
- Complete a fit for duty and a DOT before the start date. You will be required to attain your forklift and scissors lift certifications within 30 days and complete and earn your OSHA 30 certification training within 60 days of your effective date.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, and service industries is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency (knowledge) with Microsoft Office 365.
