WAREHOUSE - PRINT SHOP OPERATOR
Purpose Statement -----------------
The job of Warehouse - Print Shop Operator is done for the purposes of:
Fulfilling needs of district employees regarding ordered print materials Providing support to copying and duplicating services With specific responsibilities for:
Essential Functions -------------------
Assesses inventory of paper and bindery supplies, e.g. monitoring inventory levels and supplies according to scheduled production, etc. for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities of required materials are readily available for timely completion of orders.
Assists district employees with the design and production requirements for duplicating jobs, e.g. recommend paper, review layout, evaluate costs, etc. for the purpose of implementing the duplication of materials in accordance with defined specifications and completion dates.
Attends meetings, e.g. receiving information on additional copy requests and providing suggestions, etc. for the purpose of ensuring accurate communication for printing and copying scheduled materials.
Duplicates documents, e.g. announcements, forms, letterhead, fliers, pamphlets, etc. for the purpose of providing materials needed by school personnel for instruction, conferences, special events, and meetings.
Ensures environmental conditions in Copy Room, e.g. cleaning vents, eliminating paper dust, maintaining necessary temperature for copy equipment, etc. for the purpose of ensuring safety and operation of copy room.
Inspects copied jobs for the purpose of ensuring requested specifications, quality standards, and quantity requirements of orders are met.
Maintains inventory and orders supplies and materials from internal and external sources for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities and availability of supplies as needed.
Maintains manual and electronic documents, files, and records, e.g. job orders, originals, inventory of handbooks, cost analyses, printing requisitions, etc. for the purpose of providing an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.
Performs minor repairs and routine maintenance of copying and duplicating equipment, e.g. multifunction copiers, scanners, binders, etc. for the purpose of maintaining machines and equipment in good working condition.
Prepares completed jobs for delivery, e.g. collating, binding, packaging, etc. for the purpose of implementing all scheduled printing and copying requests.
Responds to district employees with the design and production requirements for duplicating jobs, e.g. paper recommendations, review of layout, evaluation of costs, etc. for the purpose of duplicating materials in accordance with defined order specifications.
Responds to inquiries regarding printing specifications and status of orders for the purpose of providing information and/or direction to requesting parties.
