Industrial Powder Coater
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join a leading manufacturer in Lithia Springs/Fulton Industrial area for an immediate start. This is a high-volume production role focused on high-quality metal finishing.
Job Summary
The Powder Coater is responsible for preparing and coating various metal parts to ensure a durable, high-quality finish. This role involves manual and automated spray application, line loading, and quality inspection in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Shift
Hours: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.$17 per hour
Overtime: Must be available for overtime on Fridays as required.
Start Date: Immediate (Tomorrow).
Essential Duties
Apply protective powder coatings to various metal surfaces using specialized spray equipment.
Clean and prepare surfaces prior to coating, including masking critical areas.
Load and unload parts from moving conveyor lines and racks.
Inspect finished products for adhesion, thickness, and color consistency.
Maintain and clean spray guns, booths, and filters daily.
Requirements
Safety Gear: Steel-toed boots are required.
Testing: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repetitively and stand for long shifts.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent on-time attendance.
Experience: Previous industrial powder coating or spray painting experience is preferred.
