Warehouse Picker 3rd Shift

Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available

Position Summary

Baldor Specialty Foods is seeking motivated and dependable Warehouse Pickers to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, handling, and preparing food products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, physically active, and comfortable working in refrigerated warehouse conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Follow instructions from RF scanner/computer to accurately pick customer orders

Build stable, organized pallets according to warehouse standards operating mainly Electric Pallet Jack Stand On,

Maintain productivity goals, including selecting an average of 100 packages per hour by the 90th day of employment

Safely navigate throughout the warehouse while maintaining a strong safety record

Inspect products for damages or defects and report concerns to supervisors immediately

Transport products carefully and efficiently throughout the warehouse

Ensure accuracy of picked items, quantities, and product quality

Maintain assigned equipment in safe working condition

Keep work areas clean and organized to support food safety and warehouse compliance standards

Stage completed pallets at designated loading dock locations

Follow all HACCP, SQF, GMP, and food safety procedures

Immediately report safety concerns, damaged products, or inventory discrepancies to management

Conduct daily equipment inspections on pallet jacks and assigned warehouse equipment

Qualifications & Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Previous warehouses experience, Electric Pallet Jack experience is needed

Ability to read and understand RF scanner instruction

Experience operating rider jacks, walk-behinds, pallet jacks, or pump jacks preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Basic computer skills preferred (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours daily)

Must be able to bend, twist, lift, climb, and perform repetitive physical movements

Ability to lift up to 5060 lbs regularly

Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments (36°F and/or -15°F)

Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts
