Join Our Team as a Warehouse Picker and Packer in Pasadena, TX!
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a vibrant location? Join our dynamic team in Pasadena, TX, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for additional offers based on performance. Work the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6:45 pm, with opportunities for overtime depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Locate products in the warehouse, ensuring correct item, quantity, and condition.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling, wrapping, and palletizing.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies or damaged items.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (forklift certification required).
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets set by warehouse leadership.
- Assist with restocking shelves and general warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferences
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or packing experience.
- Previous experience operating forklift equipment.
