PT and FT opportunity for the right candidate. Shifts would require ability to work our current business hours. Store Hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm, Sat 9-4pm. You will be scheduled to work on a Saturday(s). Position is Hourly ($16.00 to $17.00) .
Job Summary
Alton Refrigeration & Home Furnishings is always looking for Warehouse Personnel to join our team! You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving, unloading and processing incoming appliances and furniture and bedding. Unpacking and preparing products for delivery and display. ( Pay range $16.00 hour to $17.00 hour)
Responsibilities:
- Plan prepare and organize materials / products in the warehouse & showroom, & for delivery. Position will also involve inventory tasks
- Handle and execute shipping operations ( Loading / Unloading /Preparing Products: Trucks from Vendors / Delivery Service & Customers)
- Maintain, clean & organized warehouse and dock as well as keeping all necessary tools and equipment organized & in their designated work space.
- Manage / maintain equipment, products, and supplies
- Maintains high activity/productivity level
Qualifications:
- Be capable of lifting 50 + pounds.
- Using a hand dolly or pallet jack ( This will be a very labor intensive position, being physically fit is crucial )
- Work on their feet for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours a day.
- Be a fast / efficient /accurate worker, capable of keeping organized and productive while working .
- Be able to work as a team player especially in pressing moments/situations & work to get things done!
- Have a great attitude and be able to demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- have reliable transportation.
