The Staff Management | SMX team located in Pittsburgh, PA, is currently seeking Packaging/Palletizing candidates to join the production team at Tandem Foods. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, palletizing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an essential position that requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety standards.


This position is a full-time position, and the shift and pay are as follows:


Monday - Friday


+ 1st / A Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm ($16.63/hour)

+ 2nd / B Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm ($17.63/hour)

+ 3rd / C Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am ($17.63/hour)

+ Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm ($16.63/hour)

+ Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:30am ($17.63/hour)

Pay Rate: $16.63 - $17.63 / hour


Duties:


+ Prepare and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring items are correctly sorted, labeled, and packaged for shipment.

+ Lift, carry, and stack 10-20 lb boxes, often picking up 2-3 boxes at a time and placing them onto pallets.

+ Properly stack pallets to ensure safe and organized shipping of products.

+ Wrap finished pallets securely for shipment.

+ Perform routine checks to ensure product quality and accuracy.

+ Maintain a fast-paced work environment while meeting production goals and deadlines.

+ Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Stand, bend, and reach throughout the entire shift, performing repetitive motions.

Position Requirements:

This is an entry level labor position. Requirements are as follows but not limited to:


+ Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift

+ Must have reliable transportation

+ Must be able to read, write and speak English

+ Ability to lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing 10-20 lbs consistently.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

+ Physical stamina to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus.


Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 20 pounds., required education: No Education Requirement.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $16.63 - $17.63 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
