What you will be doing:
You will work with fellow warehouse operators to fill and move barrels into aging warehouses. This includes operating various machines in the filling and dumping process, loading and unloading trailers with both empty and full barrels, coordinating barrel movement throughout the warehousing operation based on customer needs and product being produced. You will be responsible for conveying problems or concerns to supervision as well as assisting maintenance with the repair of equipment through processes such as; shutting down, isolating, draining and testing of equipment. All warehouse processes require generation of and maintenance of operations paperwork.

This position requires a safety minded individual possessing a high school diploma or equivalent. You must possess the ability to function respectfully within a team to accomplish set goals each day. You must be safety oriented with zero tolerance for short cuts that put you and others at risk. Computer skills, mathematical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are ideal traits of the selected candidate.
Physical Requirements:
This position has heavy physical requirements including lifting 75 lbs. repeatedly and must be able to roll, tip & maneuver 500 lbs. barrels with minimal assistance. Must have the physical endurance to perform this heavy work for 8+ hours per day. Physical mobility for this position includes extensive, walking, climbing in/ out of barrel racks, working at heights and in narrow/confined spaces, constant exposure to heat and cold temperatures for entire shift, bending, stooping and kneeling as well as exposure to dusty conditions and alcohol fumes. Physical dexterity includes use of mechanical tools. All job tasks require use of proper personal protective equipment.
