Boise Cascade is seeking a passionate, safety-focused Warehouse Operations Supervisor. Please review the responsibilities and qualifications below:
Responsibilities
Serve as a champion for safety, continuously promoting and maintaining a safe work environment.
Oversee warehouse operations with a strong focus on documentation and reporting accuracy.
Manage inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and efficient material flow.
Lead by example as a player-coach, fostering teamwork and providing guidance to staff.
Resolve conflicts constructively, supporting positive team dynamics.
Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Supervise the daily activities and performance of warehouse staff, including training and development.
Support and enforce Division Safety and PPE policies and coordinate with management for safety audits and improvements.
Participate in dispatching activities and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Forklift certification required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Experience with inventory management and documentation/reporting.
Some dispatching experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of building materials is a plus.
