Position Overview

CMI-HR Facility Solutions is seeking a motivated and operationally driven Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee daily warehouse flow, ensure inventory accuracy, and support administrative coordination.

This role is ideal for a candidate who combines hands-on warehouse experience with strong organizational and leadership skills. You will serve as a key operational point between floor execution and administrative control, ensuring productivity, compliance, and safety standards are consistently met.

This position offers a pathway toward supervisory growth for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate inbound and outbound shipment records
• Manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking
• Generate reports on stock levels, shipping status, and warehouse activity
• Prepare Bills of Lading and shipping documentation
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams
• Support audits and compliance reviews
• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose improvements

Floor Leadership & Equipment Operation

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials efficiently
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits
• Maintain organized warehouse layout for optimal productivity
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Ensure OSHA and company safety compliance
• Support production line tasks when administrative duties are complete

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience required
• Experience with inventory systems or WMS preferred
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
