Job Description

We're hiring a Warehouse Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping operations organized, accurate, and running smoothly. This role serves as a key connection point between customers, sales teams, warehouse operations, and transportation activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, customer-focused, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome and assist visitors, customers, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Prepare and process paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Maintain accurate order documentation and help keep open order reports current
  • Respond to customer and sales representative inquiries regarding orders, deliveries, and account information
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, discrepancies, and questions promptly and professionally
  • Track daily customer deliveries and provide status updates as needed
  • Verify order accuracy and process adjustments when necessary
  • Support walk-in customer transactions and order processing
  • Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, filing, scanning, and document management
  • Retrieve information from company systems, records, and email correspondence and prepare reports as needed
  • Maintain office and warehouse supply inventories and coordinate equipment maintenance requests
  • Assist with accounts payable discrepancy research and resolution
  • Support export ledger reporting and administrative accounting functions
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
  • Stay current on product knowledge to better support customers and internal teams
  • Assist warehouse and branch operations with special projects and additional duties as assigned
  • Support operational needs that may occasionally require early morning or extended work hours

Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience required
• Experience in construction supply, industrial distribution, warehouse operations, or related industries preferred
• Experience supporting shipping, logistics, inventory, or customer service functions is a plus
• Basic accounting or accounts payable experience preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the office and warehouse throughout the day
  • Frequent use of computers, phones, and office equipment
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies, files, or inventory items up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments with exposure to noise, dust, and changing temperatures
