Warehouse Manager | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Wyoming that are seeking Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe working environment.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control departments to ensure seamless material flow.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency and reducing operational costs
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of warehouse personnel
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP EWM or Oracle WMS.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies (e.g., AS/RS, AGVs) in a warehouse setting.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).
