Join a Thriving E-Commerce Company as a Warehouse Manager

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives on operational efficiency and team building? If you’re someone who can spot a process improvement from across the warehouse floor and loves driving results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, this role is for you!

About the Company:

Our client is a rapidly growing e-commerce business. Since their founding, they have become a go-to resource for students, educators, and STEM teams throughout the country and internationally — listening directly to the community and building solutions to their challenges. With a dynamic, mission-driven team, they are poised for continued growth and looking for the right leader to take their warehouse operations to the next level.

About the Role:

As the Warehouse Manager, you will own the entire order fulfillment operation — from receiving and inventory management to the final delivery of every product. You’ll lead a team of 4–6 warehouse personnel while staying hands-on, ready to jump on a forklift or assist wherever needed. Your experience in e-commerce fulfillment, eye for efficiency, and Lean mindset will directly shape the customer experience and fuel the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all e-commerce fulfillment operations, including receiving and storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment
  • Oversee daily picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accurate order fulfillment, on-time delivery, and complete customer satisfaction
  • Lead a team of 4–6 warehouse personnel; manage workflow, quality, and workload balance to keep operations running efficiently
  • Manage production and light assembly operations, including plastic sheet cutting, product kitting, counting, and packaging
  • Utilize WMS and ERP systems to monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Use, teach, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices
  • Supervise safe and effective operation of all production and warehouse equipment
  • Monitor efficiency, identify improvement opportunities, and drive Continuous Improvement using 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal safety regulations, equipment maintenance requirements, and best practices for a safe, clean environment

What You’ll Bring:

  • Operational Leadership: Energetic and hands-on, with the ability to lead a team while remaining deeply engaged in day-to-day operations
  • E-Commerce Expertise: Proven fulfillment experience including picking/packing, shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory management, and light assembly
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Self-motivated to identify and drive improvements; practical experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S
  • Tech Savviness: Experience with ERP and WMS systems; familiarity with NetSuite and/or RF-Smart is a plus
  • Adaptability: Quick learner who thrives on change and can pivot confidently in a fast-moving environment
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality, accuracy, organization, and cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Trade School Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
  • 3–5 years of experience in a warehouse and fulfillment management role for a small or medium-sized company
  • 2–3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on fulfillment experience including picking/packing, shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory management, and light assembly
  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems; NetSuite and/or RF-Smart experience is a plus
  • Experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Immediate full-time employment with competitive compensation
  • Comprehensive benefits, including healthcare plans
  • Flexible schedules, paid holidays, and generous paid time off (PTO)
  • An entrepreneurial, mission-driven team where your contributions make a real impact
  • The opportunity to be part of continued growth in a dynamic, fast-moving company
