Your tasks

• Organize warehousing operations
• Participate in infrastructural improvement projects
• Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods
• Communication with external trucking companies
• Maintain accurate records using the company''s ERP system and be proficient in company-issued software and devices
• Suggest ways to improve current processes to increase efficiency
• Participate in recruiting process of warehouse staff
• Train staff and monitor their performance and progress
• Prepare and monitor the work schedules of warehouse staff
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure a positive working environment
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are met, and work areas are maintained clean
• Carry out any other assigned duties

Your profile

• At least a high school diploma is required/Associate or Bachelor''s degree is preferred
• Minimum of five years warehouse/distribution center experience
• Strong leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate, and manage
• Hands-on mentality
• Forklift certification
• Ability to use computer applications such as MS-Office and to learn about the company''s ERP system
• Effective oral and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
