Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager leads and oversees warehouse operations, ensuring efficient product receiving, storing, and distribution while developing strategic plans aligned with organizational goals. This role involves managing the warehouse team, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Warehouse Manager must demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to enhance operational efficiency, implement continuous improvements, and maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.

Role Description

  • Lead and oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in receiving, storing, and distributing products.

  • Develop and implement strategic warehouse plans, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Manage the warehouse team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to enhance productivity and morale.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to optimize stock levels and minimize excess.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace.

  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Utilize data analysis to identify trends, address issues, and improve warehouse processes.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and improve service delivery.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and facilities.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to enhance warehouse operations.

Skill Level Requirements

  • Understanding the end-to-end process of sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the flow of goods. - Expert

  • Proficient in using PCs or laptops to track inventories, reorder supplies, and generate reports. - Expert

  • Utilizing Excel for data analysis, including the use of formulas, functions, and pivot tables. - Expert

  • Experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and 3rd party shipping software. - Expert

  • Effectively utilizing applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Expert

  • Proficiency in operating industrial power equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. - Expert



Other Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required

  • 3+ years of warehouse experience

  • 3+ years of Leadership experience

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Ability to work weekends

  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time

  • Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs.

  • 1+ years of management experience preferred

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
